Latham, New York– Spectra Engineering, Architecture, and Surveying, P.C. has announced the hiring of Mark A. Hugaboom, PE as a Senior Structural Engineer.
Mr. Hugaboom is from Ballston Lake, New York. He has over 21 years of experience in the structural engineering field. He comes to Spectra with experience working on bridge replacement and rehabilitation projects and has worked on projects in Saratoga, Schenectady, and Schoharie Counties as well as projects in Vermont. His project experience includes the design of US Route 4 (Central Avenue) over the Anthony Kill in Mechanicville, and the replacement of CR 45 (North Line Road) over the Kayaderosseras Creek in Malta. Mr. Hugaboom is a licensed Professional Engineer, holding licenses in the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Connecticut.

He will be a great asset to our infrastructure group in the coming years.”

Spectra’s headquarters are in Latham, New York and maintains offices in Syracuse, New York. The president of Spectra Engineering, Architecture, and Surveying, P.C., John H. Shafer, P.E., was formerly Chief Engineer for the New York State Department of Transportation and Executive Director for the New York State Thruway Authority.
